 A2A mBanking®:
A2A mBanking® -- JAVA Version: This is a JAVA-based mobile banking system. It allows customers to
interact securely with the bank using the SMS or GPRS channels. The main
advantage of this application is allowing customers to use their mobile phones
to interact safely with the bank from any country in the world.
Unstructured Supplementary Service Data
(USSD) is a technology unique to GSM. It is a capability built into the
GSM standard for support of transmitting information over the signaling
channels of the GSM network. USSD provides session-based communication,
enabling a variety of applications. It is a communication technology
that is used to send text between a mobile phone and an application
program in the network. Applications may include prepaid roaming, mobile
chatting or financial applications.
The A2A mBanking® -- USSD Version product offers a
secure, menu driven interface that allows any clients to use any mobile
phone to quickly execute transactions and make inquiries. The
service requires no setup or software download on the part of the
customer. This product is not GSM Operator independent and arrangements
will have to be made with each operator.
