A2A participated in MEFTEC during period 19/04/2010-22/04/2010 in Bahrain.

On the 19th of April A2A participated in the Middle East’s premiere banking technology event, which was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This time round the event was more important than ever before for A2A as we announced the completion of our countrywide mobile banking and payment project in Iraq. This project was implemented to provide both USSD and SMS-based functionality for the Iraqi public and it allowed them to:

∙ Pay merchants

∙ Settle bills

∙ Buy mobile top up

∙ Enquire about balances and past transactions
